278000 Reasons to celebrate 2018
Thank you to everyone who has helped us to support more children in more schools and communities across NSW –we couldn't do it without you.
This year we visited around 278,000 students from 1,852 primary schools, high schools and preschools across NSW, including 685 disadvantaged schools, and 803 schools in remote and regional areas.
Our support has included approximately $2.5 million from local, state and federal government and $650,000 in fundraising and donations.
A big part of our success is achieved through our relationship with corporate partners, including ClubsNSW, Hyundai Help for Kids, and Parramatta Eels, who help us via community initiatives, fundraising and promotion.
Our volunteers, including around 50 members of our dedicated Life Action Groups, work tirelessly to help us reach children in their communities with vital health and safety messages.
We also have the support of more than 100 State and Federal Members of Parliament who advocate on our behalf. This year we welcomed seven new MP Ambassadors to our fold, and two community ambassadors, Dr Sam Hay and Mary Konstantopoulos.
No child should have to face adult-sized problems alone. Through your generosity, we are able to support more young people – empowering them to make smarter and healthier choices about drugs and alcohol, nutrition, bullying and cybersafety.
You can read more about our 2018 achievements in our NSW Annual Report.
We look forward to reaching even more children in 2019, with your continued support.
