SA students head back to school with Healthy Harold

Children in SA were greeted by a friendly face at the school gate this week, with lovable Aussie giraffe Healthy Harold there to show his support for the year ahead.
As students head back to the classroom for 2022, they face another year of uncertainty due to the pandemic. It’s a worry for parents too – with research from Life Ed showing that more than half (52%) of parents believed the Covid crisis was impacting the mental health of their children.
To support students during this tricky start to the year, Healthy Harold was there to extend a welcoming wave at the school gates.
The organisation behind the giraffe, Life Ed, is also offering free on demand health and wellbeing lessons – in the form of click and go videos – for schools.
Life Ed SA CEO Gildi Carty said the need for ongoing resilience after such a disruptive couple of school years mean the priority for health and wellbeing has never been higher.
Life Ed is also offering Covid-safe virtual lessons covering cybersafety, friendships and wellbeing for preschoolers and primary aged children.
