CHP Australia helps Life Ed ‘Take A Breath’

Thanks to the support of CHP Australia, we are proud to have developed “Take a Breath”, a learning experience co-designed by students, for students. This new module (available in 2024) explores the issues around vaping and smoking through the lend of real Australian students.

“Take a Breath” features children in Years 5 and 6 who have genuine questions about vaping, alongside real high school students who recorded and edited their responses – with all content fact checked by experts from Curtin University.

It encourages young people to stop, “Take a Breath” and ask questions, so that they can exercise their critical thinking skills before making decisions.

“We’re incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with CHP Australia on the development of our new module which explores the impacts of vaping and smoking on young people,” said Russell D’Costa, CEO, Life Ed Australia.

“Together, we have the vision of empowering young people across Australia to become advocates when it comes to the growing issue of vaping. I’m so proud that this has resulted in a genuinely student-led and voiced module within the Life Ed program which is expected to reach more than 40,000 students in 2024.”

CHP Australia’s partnership with Life Ed represents a shared passion for empowering Australians to improve their health and enhance their well-being.
