Miss Cissy takes on the Big Apple

Term 4 in the Top End has included all the usual travel all over the Territory and amidst it all Educator, Miss Cissy embarked on a special trip overseas – to run the New York City (NYC) Marathon!
The NYC Marathon is like running through a giant multicultural party, you never know what's around the corner or up the road.
Parts of the way I actually forgot I was running in a marathon because I was so preoccupied with all that was going on. Music, dancing, pretzels!

The reports are in, and she not only ran admirably, she also enjoyed the experience too. It’s a great example of our Educators leading by example in health, fitness and goal-setting.
