Ways to Get Involved

Moneghetti runs towards Ocsober

Friday, 31 Aug 2018

He’s won gold medals, world championships and set City2Surf records but this Ocsober, Steve Moneghetti is running a different race – to help Aussie kids. During the month of October, Australian adults will be going without alcohol to raise money so that more children have access to Life Education program.

Speaking with WIN News Ballarat, Steve shared his passion to help children to understand the impact of alcohol.

“Parents are the best role models for our kids. So if we get them doing it and they leave a mark on our children, then that’s a great outcome.”

While a recent study showed tobacco smoking and illicit drug use is declining among young people, the consumption of alcohol at risky levels remains high.

We need your help raising $500,000 to help educate and empower the next generation of Australians. Will you lose the booze and help Aussie kids?
