Rocks Resilience of Country Kids

Channel 7 Telethon Trust has renewed its partnership in this time of need with Life Ed Western Australia (LEWA) to run its “Rocks” program in 2021 School Year.
The object of “Rocks” is to partner with Primary Schools in the WA Goldfields Region to help build the Resilience of primary students via our “Virtual Delivery” with Telethon funding to support children from Low Socioeconomic Schools in this region.
During 2020 Life Ed WA has been forced through COVID-19 to expand its delivery model from using our Mobile Learning Centres in Primary Schools to a new model “Virtual Delivery”, which will give primary students in country and remote communities their first experience of Health Harold and Early Preventive Health/Safety education.
This will not only give LEWA the opportunity to re-enter the Goldfields for the benefit of those children after many years, but to partner with local communities and business’s to expand the program throughout the region.
