Youth Connect speakers confirmed

Life Ed South Australia’s signature event, Youth Connect is back with a range of thought-provoking speakers confirmed for the highly-anticipated education forum.

To be held on Friday, 9 August, the event will feature keynote presentations and a lively panel discussion with:

  • Maree Crabbe, Director of the Australian Violence Prevention Initiative – who will discuss the impact of pornography and what schools can do to support students
  • Matt Dunn, Head of Automation at Missing Link – who will explore how schools can embrace AI including ChatGPT
  • Dr Jodi Richardson, anxiety and wellbeing specialist – who will cover how to shift anxiety to resilience
  • Dr Mark Dowley, Associate Head of the Crowther Centre – who will present on student behaviour and how to improve this in the current school climate

Young people will also be front and centre at the event as they share their perspectives and insights. There will also be an open Q&A at the end of the agenda, to allow guests to delve deeper into the views of panellists.

Hosted by comedian Lori Bell, the forum will tackle the tough issues and challenging conversations in an interactive and engaging way. The not-to-be-missed event will give school leaders, wellbeing coordinators, teachers and youth workers a chance to learn, share and connect.
