Clarence Valley Council tows the line for Healthy Harold
Thanks to the Clarence Valley Council's support in towing Healthy Harold’s mobile learning centre (MLC) throughout the community, Life Ed successfully visited 32 schools and early learning centres, reaching 1,927 students.
Healthy Harold’s visit was a highlight for many students. At Coutts Crossing Public School, students were enthusiastic about learning critical health and wellbeing information. “The Troopers had an amazing time with Healthy Harold and (Life Ed educator) Kira today. We learned about our major organs, how to keep them healthy and some strategies to help us think positively and regulate our feelings,” shared a school representative.
Similarly, Nymnboida Public School expressed their excitement: “We were lucky enough to have the Life Ed van visit our school. The students were very excited to see Healthy Harold.”
The Life Ed program is dedicated to empowering children with the knowledge and skills needed to make safe and healthy life choices. We extend our gratitude to Clarence Valley Council for enabling these impactful visits through their towing support. Together, we are making a difference in the health and wellbeing of our community’s children.
