Ways to Get Involved

Thank you Alex Collinson

Tuesday, 16 Dec 2025

After eight years of service on the Life Ed Australia Board, we wish Alex Collinson well and thank him for his incredible financial guidance and leadership.

Retiring in accordance with our Constitution, Alex has been an exceptional Director, Honorary Treasurer and Chairperson of the Finance Risk and Audit Committee.

It is safe to say that many of Life Ed’s achievements have been carefully and expertly stewarded by Alex. This includes working with previous Board member Clare Stokes on achieving the organisation’s first $4.4 million Federal Government Grant. Alex was also integral in negotiating the purchase of our historic purpose-built Life Education Centre in Colyton. Most recently, through the generosity of Toga Group, where Alex serves as Group Chief Financial Officer, Life Ed Australia now has new office accommodation in central Sydney.

Before Alex commenced at Toga, he was a Partner at Deloitte where he worked for over 20 years across three continents serving clients from an audit, finance, transformation, strategy, transaction, technology and risk perspective.

Alex has been so generous in sharing his experience and expertise to support and advocate for our cause.

Alex has been a trusted friend, mentor, and my go-to Director for advice on challenging and complex matters. Alex, your wisdom and generosity have left an indelible mark on this organisation, and I have grown wiser from our connection.
Previous Chair, Sue O’Malley reflects.
Alex has had an exceptional tenure as Treasurer of the Life Ed Australia Board. Alex, your financial stewardship and strategic insight have strengthened our organisation’s foundations in ways that will serve us for many years to come. Thank you for your service and commitment.
Recently appointed Chair, Justin Levis shares.
