Ways to Get Involved

Captain of Aussie netball team joins forces with Healthy Harold

She’s a Commonwealth Games gold medallist, World Cup trophy holder, Captain of the Aussie Diamonds national netball team, and proud Healthy Harold graduate…

We’re thrilled to welcome Liz Watson as a new Ambassador for Life Ed Australia.

I still remember the impact Healthy Harold had on me growing up, so to now be part of Life Ed as an Ambassador is something I’m really proud of. It’s all about helping young people build healthy habits and believe in themselves.
Liz Watson, Captain of the Aussie Diamonds national netball team.

Named one of Australia’s most influential women in sport, Liz will be helping us to raise awareness about our early education approach to building children’s healthy literacy.

“We’re grateful to have Liz’s support. She is an exceptional role model for young people, demonstrating how composure, consistency and a strong work ethic can not only drive personal success, but lift those around her,” said Karen Robertson, CEO at Life Ed Australia.

“She reflects so much of what we teach children in and beyond the classroom. While she is an expert in physical health, it’s her positive attitude, kindness and empathetic leadership of the Australian netball team that truly brings to life the social and emotional skills and respectful relationships we are building with children across Australia.”

Liz brings a deep commitment to education, with teaching qualifications and insight influenced by her mum’s experience as a school principal. We’re excited to work with her to reach kids when it counts.

We could not do what we do without support from our community.
