Ways to Get Involved

Join us at Healthy Harold’s Parkes Festival of Health

Thursday, 28 Mar 2024

Healthy Harold's Parkes Festival of Health is an upcoming event aimed at promoting health and wellbeing in the Parkes community. Scheduled to take place from 6th – 17th May 2024, this festival will feature the delivery of the Life Ed program to over 1,550 children in 15 schools and early learning centres in Parkes and surrounding regions.

To strength and complement the school engagement, Life Ed is launching ‘Healthy Harold’s Parkes Festival of Health’. This festival is held while Life Ed’s educators and mobile learning centres are in town visiting schools to promote health and mental well-being awareness, encourage conversations, generate interest in positive health outcomes, and provide opportunities for the whole community to participate. The inaugural festival will feature a variety of activities centred around a family-friendly event, designed in consultation with the Parkes community.

Life Ed’s goal is to encourage people of all ages throughout the region to engage in discussions about mental health and wellbeing.
