Ways to Get Involved

Celebrating a decade of support

Wednesday, 11 Dec 2019

Local councils and clubs are not only the backbone of communities; their support and commitment to Life Ed has been unwavering for more than 10 years.

This year Life Ed NSW received $68,400 in ClubGRANTS from 13 clubs across NSW. This funding contributed towards fee and session subsidies for disadvantaged children in need, so they could access our vital preventative health program.

The funding also assisted in development training for our educators, student workbooks, parent handouts and revamping our Mobile Learning Centres.

We were also fortunate to receive $22,500 in council community grants from five shires across NSW. These grants assisted with subsidising our program for disadvantaged children and educator training.

We would like to thank the following councils and clubs for their wonderful support during 2019:

  • Blacktown City Council
  • Canterbury-Bankstown City Council
  • Liverpool City Council
  • Oberon Council
